Welcome to Devonshire House 1

Devonshire House I & II are located on the corner of Kildonan Green Dr. and Plessis Rd. in Transcona. Featuring 1 and 2 bedroom suites especially designed with today’s senior in mind. Located near shopping, bus stops, and other conventions, Devonshire House I and II feature full dining rooms, Brunch and Dinner are served daily conveniently in both buildings, housekeeping services weekly, and planned activities and excursions throughout the month. Each building features its own full service housekeeping staff, and kitchen staff, and both have their own hair salon and guest suite, and private dining rooms.

Amenities

Our 1 and 2 bedroom suites are wheelchair and walker accessible. The majority of suites feature a walk-in shower stall, while the remaining suites provide a bathtub option. Each suite features individually controlled heat and air conditioning, ample storage space, kitchens equipped with a full stove and fridge, as well as a balcony.

Brunch and a delicious three course dinner served daily in our central dining room by our friendly and attentive staff. All meals are prepared from scratch, on site by professionally trained kitchen staff. The meals are low sodium, including diabetic options, other allergies and restrictions are also attended to

Housekeeping

Weekly light housekeeping is provided, linen service, as well as daily garbage collection. The grounds, building, and suites are maintained on an ongoing basis by our maintenance staff. Snow removal and de-icing of walkways and parking lot are also a priority.

Activities

Activities, presentations, and entertainment are planned on a monthly basis. Some examples include weekly exercise class, tai chi, bingo, theme dinners, and weekly excursions to and from nearby shopping centres.

Added Features

We provide a private guest suite for out of town guests, as well a private dining room for gatherings of family and friends. Laundry facilities are located on each floor, at no extra charge, and all of the residences feature a full service hair salon.

All buildings have an overnight on-location staff.
